FIRST Robotics

Each year our team competes in the FIRST(For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology)Robotics Competition. This competition combining science and sport challenges students to raise funds, design a team brand, hone teamwork skills, and build a robot to perform specific tasks against a field of competitors. Students gain valuable experience by working with a variety mentors, most from local high-tech companies, and benefit from seeing how their studies in math, science and business can be applied to real-world challenges.
